The average export price for ammonia; anhydrous or in aqueous solutia stood at $446 per ton in 2022, surging by 16% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a perceptible setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 50% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $573 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets.
