In November 2023, the average import price for aluminium; alloys, bars, rods and profiles, other than hollows amounted to $4,900 per ton, waning by -2.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 when the average import price increased by 12% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5,763 per ton. From July 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($8,885 per ton), while the price for Italy ($3,502 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Sweden (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average export price for aluminium; alloys, bars, rods and profiles, other than hollows stood at $5,258 per ton in November 2023, picking up by 1.7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a mild decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 9.3% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $6,201 per ton. From May 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($7,798 per ton), while the average price for exports to Israel ($4,662 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+0.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
