The average import price for alcohols; aromatic and derivatives, other than benzyl alcohol stood at $4,867 per ton in March 2022, which is down by -6.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2021 an increase of 26% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $6,058 per ton in April 2021; however, from May 2021 to March 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Argentina (+3,199.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
