The average export price for albumins; albuminates and other albumin derivativeses stood at $8,281 per ton in December 2023, surging by 16% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, saw a slight reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 21% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $12,656 per ton. From February 2023 to December 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($21,331 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($5,775 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
