The average import price for acyclic amides (including acyclic carbamates) and their derivatives; salts thereoves stood at $5,368 per ton in 2022, dropping by -9.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 19% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $6,509 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Germany.

From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Belgium amounted to -2.0% per year.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of acyclic amides (including acyclic carbamates) and their derivatives; salts thereoves, when their volume decreased by -71.8% to 36 tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 567%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 127 tons, and then shrank rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, imports of acyclic amides (including acyclic carbamates) and their derivatives; salts thereoves reduced rapidly to $192K in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 554%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $756K, and then plummeted in the following year.
