The average import price for acyclic alcohols and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivativeses stood at $558 per ton in December 2023, with a decrease of -2.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a slight decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 62% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $977 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to December 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
