In December 2023, the average import price for acyclic alcohols and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivativeses amounted to $1,213 per ton, declining by -4.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a pronounced decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 31% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $2,023 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
