In 2022, the average import price for activated carbon; activated natural mineral products; animal black, including spent animal blacks amounted to $3,424 per ton, with an increase of 16% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the average import price increased by 38% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $4,824 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
