The average import price for acrylic polymers, in primary forms (excluding polymethyl methacrylate) stood at $2,244 per ton in November 2023, remaining stable against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a slight curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 an increase of 17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $2,651 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to November 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($4,169 per ton), while the price for Vietnam ($979 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+0.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2023 an increase of 98% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $2,278 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($3,495 per ton), while the average price for exports to Djibouti ($278 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cambodia (+4.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
