Plant-Growth Regulators Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2023
The average plant-growth regulators import price stood at $11,940 per ton in August 2023, which is down by -22.8% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a modest increase from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.0% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, plant-growth regulators import price increased by +7.2% against June 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 94% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $15,472 per ton in July 2023, and then fell rapidly in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($28,377 per ton), while the price for Austria ($6,765 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Romania (+10.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Plant-Growth Regulators Price in the Czech Republic (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average plant-growth regulators export price amounted to $4,897 per ton, with a decrease of -59.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a pronounced downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 46% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $13,296 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($16,393 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($1,521 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Plant-Growth Regulators Imports in the Czech Republic
Plant-growth regulators imports into the Czech Republic surged to 11K tons in 2022, picking up by 41% against the year before. In general, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.7% over the last three years.
