Peanut Butter Price in Iran (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average peanut butter import price amounted to $1,911 per ton, remaining stable against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 40% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $2,500 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($1,923 per ton), while the price for India ($1,540 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (-0.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Peanut Butter Price in Iran (FOB) - 2022
The average peanut butter export price stood at $1,776 per ton in 2022, reducing by -24.9% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 72% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,558 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Mauritius ($4,431 per ton), while the average price for exports to Oman ($1,093 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Qatar (+20.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Peanut Butter Imports in Iran
