Optical Fiber Cables Price in Mexico (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average optical fiber cables export price amounted to $16,031 per ton, growing by 2.7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 8.5% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $17,239 per ton. From March 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, the average optical fiber cables import price amounted to $12,596 per ton, growing by 21% against the previous year. In general, the import price posted a prominent increase. The import price peaked at $65,330 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
