Meat Dishes Price in Germany (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average meat dishes export price amounted to $6,224 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous month. Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 9.6% against the previous month. The export price peaked in June 2023.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Poland ($7,385 per ton) and Austria ($6,900 per ton), while the average price for exports to Spain ($5,349 per ton) and the UK ($5,681 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Czech Republic (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average meat dishes import price amounted to $6,287 per ton, shrinking by -8.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 9.7% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $6,874 per ton, and then contracted in the following month.
