The average liquefied butanes export price stood at $612 per ton in April 2021, surging by 5.3% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2021 to April 2021, it increased at an average monthly rate of +14.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2021 an increase of 22% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in April 2021.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Ukraine.

In April 2021, the average liquefied butanes import price amounted to $478 per ton, picking up by 10% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a precipitous slump. The import price peaked at $1,000 per ton in January 2021; however, from February 2021 to April 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
