India (1.9M tons), Spain (1.7M tons), Canada (1.4M tons), Poland (1.2M tons), Malaysia (1.1M tons), Kazakhstan (0.9M tons) and Belgium (0.9M tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to limestone flux and limestone exports from the United Arab Emirates stood at +17.8%. At the same time, Spain (+42.7%), Oman (+37.5%), Poland (+11.3%) and Belgium (+1.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Spain emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +42.7% from 2012-2022. Malaysia, Canada and Japan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($535M) remains the largest limestone flux and limestone supplier worldwide, comprising 59% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Japan ($55M), with a 6% share of global exports. It was followed by Malaysia, with a 4.8% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in the United Arab Emirates totaled +12.7%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Japan (+0.9% per year) and Malaysia (+3.9% per year).

Export Prices By Country
