Lift and Hoist Price in the UK (CIF) - 2023
The average lift and hoist import price stood at $20,298 per unit in June 2023, approximately equating the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 7.6% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $20,438 per unit; afterwards, it flattened through to June 2023.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Denmark ($19,998 per unit) and Italy ($19,998 per unit), while the price for the Netherlands ($19,998 per unit) and Sweden ($19,998 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Lift and Hoist Price in the UK (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average lift and hoist export price amounted to $17,166 per unit, growing by 24% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a perceptible descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when the average export price increased by 65%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $28,790 per unit. From 2020 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were the United States ($17,244 per unit) and Germany ($17,233 per unit), while the average price for exports to Italy ($17,197 per unit) and Poland ($17,202 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Canada (-1.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Lift and Hoist Imports in the UK
In 2022, approx. 20K units of lifts and hoists were imported into the UK; with an increase of 9.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a remarkable increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +17.1% over the last three years.
