U.S. Iron Or Steel Helical Springs Import Price in December 2021

In December 2021, the iron or steel helical springs price stood at $4,735 per ton (CIF, US), with an increase of 5.9% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2021 when the average import price increased by 27% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $4,851 per ton in February 2021; however, from March 2021 to December 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Mexico ($12.9 per kg), while the price for Turkey ($1,972 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
