Harvesting Machinery Price in Brazil (CIF) - 2022

The average harvesting machinery import price stood at $94,103 per unit in 2022, remaining constant against the previous year. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+2.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average harvesting machinery export price amounted to $53,860 per unit, picking up by 135% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a noticeable descent. The export price peaked at $78,305 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Guyana (+108.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Harvesting Machinery Imports in Brazil

In 2022, purchases abroad of root or tuber harvesting machines decreased by -50% to 13 units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 900% against the previous year. Imports peaked at 26 units in 2021, and then declined remarkably in the following year.
