Frozen Cuttlefishes Price in Latvia (FOB) - 2023
The average frozen cuttlefishes export price stood at $12,734 per ton in November 2023, dropping by -19.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $15,860 per ton in October 2023, and then declined dramatically in the following month.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In November 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Germany ($15,480 per ton) and Bulgaria ($15,091 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($11,016 per ton) and Estonia ($11,046 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average frozen cuttlefishes import price amounted to $6,548 per ton, waning by -16% against the previous year.
