In July 2023, the average fluorine; bromine import price amounted to $7,024 per ton, growing by 9.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 58% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $13,658 per ton. From June 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Israel ($43,109 per ton), while the price for Belgium ($5,797 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Israel (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average fluorine; bromine export price stood at $20,569 per ton in 2022, surging by 4.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the average export price increased by 29%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $25,709 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
