In 2016, Canada (X tonnes) was the main exporter for fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine, mixed up X% of total exports. Moreover, Jordan emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. The U.S., and the Netherlands experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Romania (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2007 to 2016, the share of Canada, and Romania increased by X%, and X% percentage points, while Belgium (-X%), Jordan (-X%), France (-X%), and Germany (-X%) saw their share reduced. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
