The average fluorides; of aluminium import price stood at $1,439 per ton in 2022, surging by 4.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.0%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average import price increased by 43%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $1,485 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($1,812 per ton), while the price for Italy ($605 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

After two years of decline, overseas shipments of fluorides; of aluminia increased by 3% to 3.1 tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a sharp setback.

In value terms, fluorides; of aluminium exports plummeted to $2.9K in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 84% against the previous year.
