The average ferro-titanium and ferro-silico-titanium import price stood at $4,891 per ton in August 2023, surging by 2.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a perceptible decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 40% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $8,872 per ton. From October 2022 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($8,802 per ton), while the price for Latvia ($4,069 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+14.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In August 2023, the average ferro-titanium and ferro-silico-titanium export price amounted to $5,880 per ton, jumping by 20% against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The export price peaked at $6,584 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to August 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($12,253 per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada ($5,545 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Brazil (+3.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
