In August 2023, the average commercial printing import price amounted to $9,911 per ton, shrinking by -21.2% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 23% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $12,579 per ton in July 2023, and then plummeted in the following month.
