Combine Harvester Price in Turkey (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average combine harvester import price amounted to $173K per unit, waning by -3.2% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated noticeable growth from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, combine harvester import price increased by +5.0% against March 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 22% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $179K per unit in June 2023, and then contracted in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($258K per unit), while the price for Poland ($168K per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Combine Harvester Price in Turkey (FOB) - 2022
The average combine harvester export price stood at $37,923 per unit in 2022, increasing by 1,767% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a perceptible slump. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $80,308 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($144,375 per unit), while the average price for exports to Syrian Arab Republic ($1,385 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+4.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Combine Harvester Imports in Turkey
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of combine harvester-threshers, when their volume decreased by -20.2% to 892 units. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 391%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at 1.1K units in 2021, and then dropped markedly in the following year.
