Biodiesel Price in Russia (CIF) - 2022
The average biodiesel import price stood at $1,852 per ton in January 2022, approximately equating the previous month. Over the period from January 2021 to January 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.7%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2021 an increase of 37% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,069 per ton. From March 2021 to January 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($3,388 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($1,663 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+5.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Biodiesel Price in Russia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average biodiesel export price amounted to $1,709 per ton, declining by -33.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a moderate increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 112% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $2,562 per ton in 2021, and then declined rapidly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($3,233 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($842 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kazakhstan (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Biodiesel Imports in Russia
In 2022, supplies from abroad of biodiesel was finally on the rise to reach 3K tons after two years of decline. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a abrupt contraction.
