In October 2023, the average bicycle import price amounted to $674 per unit, with an increase of 54% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a prominent expansion. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($2,226 per unit), while the price for Thailand ($112 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In 2022, the average bicycle export price amounted to $334 per unit, surging by 13% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a noticeable contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 56% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $549 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Serbia ($428 per unit), while the average price for exports to Austria ($323 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+11.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Bicycle Imports in Slovenia
