Aircraft Engine Price in the United States (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average aircraft engine export price amounted to $7,222 per unit, picking up by 27% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a sharp curtailment. The export price peaked at $39,429,344 per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($17,705 per unit), while the average price for exports to Israel ($747 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2013 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (-51.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Aircraft Engine Price in the United States (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average aircraft engine import price amounted to $292 per unit, declining by -3.9% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 8.1% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $314 per unit. From March 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Canada ($819 per unit), while the price for Singapore ($190 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Aircraft Engine Exports in the United States
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of aircraft engines and engine parts, when their volume decreased by -7.1% to 13M units. Overall, exports, however, saw significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 418,433% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at 15M units in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.
In value terms, aircraft engine exports skyrocketed to $97.2B in 2022. In general, exports showed a deep reduction. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $129.1B in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
