In 2016, Germany (X tonnes) was the largest exporter for coal gas, water gas, producer gas and similar gases, generating X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Iran (X tonnes), and South Africa (X tonnes), together achieving X% share of total coal gas, water gas, producer gas and similar gases exports. Pakistan (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes), and South Korea (X tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.

Exports from Germany decreased at an average annual rate of nan% from 2007 to 2016. At the same time, Poland (+X%), South Korea (+X%), and South Africa (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Poland emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. Pakistan, and Iran experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. In value terms, Iran ($X) remains the largest coal gas, water gas, producer gas and similar gases supplier in the world, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by South Africa ($X), with the share of X% of global exports. It was followed by Germany, with the share of X%.

From 2007 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value of coal gas, water gas, producer gas and similar gases exports in Iran decreased by nan%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: South Africa (+X% per year) and Germany (nan% per year).
