The U.S. ranks first in global trade on the carbon and graphite products market, accounting for a X% share (based on USD) of world's exports. It was followed by China (X%), Japan (X%) and Germany (X%). In 2015, the U.S. exported X million USD, -X% under the previous year.

From 2007 to 2015, U.S. carbon and graphite product exports showed mixed dynamics. A significant drop in 2009 was followed by steady growth over the next five years, until exports slightly decreased again. There was an annual increase of +X% throughout the analysed period.

In 2011, U.S. carbon and graphite products exporters overcame the pre-recession level achieved in 2007.

As U.S. companies improved their positions on overseas markets, domestic manufacturers enjoyed a new growth driver.
