It was distantly followed by Guinea (X tons), Nigeria (X tons), Cote d'Ivoire (X tons), Ghana (X tons), Benin (X tons) and Liberia (X tons), together constituting a X% share of total imports. The following importers - Mauritania (X tons) and Togo (X tons) - each finished at a X% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Liberia (with a CAGR of X%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest plastic bottle importing markets in Western Africa were Mali ($X), Burkina Faso ($X) and Senegal ($X), together comprising X% of total imports. Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Guinea, Benin, Liberia, Mauritania and Togo lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

Liberia, with a CAGR of X%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
