Meat Market Size in Vietnam

Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes) was the main destination for meat exports from Viet Nam, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, meat exports to Hong Kong SAR exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Belgium (X tonnes), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by France (X tonnes), with a X% share.

Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tonnes in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2019, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, meat imports dropped notably to $X in 2019. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2011 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2019, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2019, India (X tonnes) constituted the largest meat supplier to Viet Nam, accounting for a X% share of total imports.
