Exports from South Korea increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2017. At the same time, Peru (+X%), Kazakhstan (+X%), Japan (+X%), Russia (+X%), the Netherlands (+X%), Canada (+X%) and Germany (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Peru emerged as the fastest growing exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2017. Australia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, the U.S. (-X%) and Mexico (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2007 to 2017, the share of Mexico increased by X% percentage points, while Canada (-X%), Japan (-X%), Peru (-X%), Kazakhstan (-X%) and South Korea (-X%) saw their share reduced. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, South Korea ($X) remains the largest cadmium supplier from Viet Nam, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Canada ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a X% share.
In South Korea, cadmium exports decreased by an average annual rate of -X% over the period from 2007-2017. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Canada (-X% per year) and Kazakhstan (-X% per year).
Cadmium Imports into Vietnam
In 2017, approx. X tonnes of cadmium were imported into Viet Nam; dropping by -X% against the previous year. In general, cadmium imports continue to indicate a skyrocketing growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008, when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Viet Nam imports peaked of X tonnes in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.
In value terms, cadmium imports stood at $X in 2017. In general, cadmium imports continue to indicate an outstanding growth. Viet Nam imports peaked of $X in 2009; however, from 2010 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
Cadmium Imports by Country into Vietnam
In 2017, China (X tonnes) was the largest importer for cadmium, making up X% of total imports. India (X tonnes) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Sweden (X tonnes) and Russia (X tonnes). All these countries together took approx. X% share of total imports. The following importers - Israel (X tonnes), Belgium (X tonnes) and the U.S. (X tonnes) each reached a X% share of total imports.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Russia (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X), India ($X) and Belgium ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2017, with a combined X% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Sweden, the U.S., Russia, Israel and Viet Nam, which together accounted for a further X%.

Cadmium Import Prices by Country in Vietnam
In 2017, the cadmium import price in Viet Nam amounted to $X per tonne, waning by -X% against the previous year. In general, cadmium import price continues to indicate a moderate reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008, when it surged by X% y-o-y. In that year, the import prices for cadmium reached their peak level of $X per kg. From 2009 to 2017, growth of the import prices for cadmium stood at a somewhat lower level.
Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Belgium ($X per tonne), while Israel ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import prices was attained by Belgium (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the import price figures.
