In value terms, soya bean exports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, total exports indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Exports by Country
Turkey (X tons) was the main destination for soya bean exports from Ukraine, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, soya bean exports to Turkey exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Romania (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Italy (X tons), with an X% share.

In 2022, the average soya bean export price amounted to $X per ton, declining by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of X%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton, and then declined significantly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Egypt ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
