In value terms, Mexico ($X), Canada ($X) and the UK ($X) were the largest markets for radio receiver exported from the United States worldwide, with a combined 86% share of total exports.

Overall, imports, however, recorded a abrupt curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 17%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, radio receiver imports expanded significantly to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a abrupt decline. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of radio receiver to the United States, accounting for a 68% share of total imports. Moreover, radio receiver imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Mexico (X units), fivefold. Thailand (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 6.4% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume from China stood at -6.4%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Mexico (-0.6% per year) and Thailand (+2.2% per year).

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Mexico stood at +2.5%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: China (-15.0% per year) and Thailand (-0.3% per year).

The average radio receiver import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, shrinking by -3.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when the average import price increased by 38%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per unit), while the price for China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
