In 2020, supplies from abroad of citrus fruit jams, marmalades, jellies, purees or pastes was finally on the rise to reach X tonnes for the first time since 2016, thus ending a three-year declining trend. In general, imports, however, saw a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, citrus fruit preserves imports reduced to $X in 2020. Overall, imports, however, saw a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 with an increase of X% against the previous year.
