In value terms, India ($X) remains the largest soybean oilcake supplier in Southern Asia, comprising 97% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Pakistan ($X), with a 2% share of total exports.

In India, soybean oilcake exports declined by an average annual rate of -8.9% over the period from 2012-2021.

In 2021, the export price in Southern Asia amounted to $X per ton, increasing by 11% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.8%. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, soybean oilcake imports soared to $X in 2021. Total imports indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +3.9% over the last nine-year period.
