Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

South Africa represented the largest exporting country with an export of about X tons, which accounted for X% of total exports. Tanzania (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Namibia (X tons). All these countries together took approx. X% share of total exports. Swaziland (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to camel and other animal meat exports from South Africa stood at X%. At the same time, Swaziland (X%) and Tanzania (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Swaziland emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in SADC, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Namibia (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
