As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2023, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Poland (X tons) was the main destination for vegetable exports from Romania, accounting for a X% share of total exports. For the third year in a row, Romania recorded growth in overseas purchases of vegetables, which increased by X% to X tons in 2023. Overall, imports continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2023 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
