Germany, Turkey, China, Sweden, Italy, Israel, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and France lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Algeria (with a CAGR of +X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, Sweden (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of wood pulp to Portugal, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, wood pulp imports from Sweden exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Spain (X tons), twofold. Germany (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.
