Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

In value terms, dried mushroom imports amounted to $X in 2018. Over the period under review, dried mushroom imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at $X in 2009; however, from 2010 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

In 2018, China (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of dried mushroom to Portugal, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, dried mushroom imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X tonnes), more than tenfold. Germany (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.
