From 2007 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

After six years of growth, overseas purchases of aluminium decreased by -X% to X tonnes in 2019. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2010 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2018, and then shrank slightly in the following year.

In value terms, aluminium imports declined to $X in 2019. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a notable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010 with an increase of X% y-o-y.
