Melon Market Size in Morocco

Over the period under review, total exports indicated a perceptible expansion from 2007 to 2020: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Exports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

France (X tonnes) was the main destination for melon exports from Morocco, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, melon exports to France exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Spain (X tonnes), fourfold. Mauritania (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.
