Among the main exporting countries, the United Arab Emirates, with a CAGR of +48.9%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

The export price in the Middle East stood at $X per unit in 2021, reducing by -5.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the export price increased by 40% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($X per unit), while Turkey ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Imports in the Middle East
In 2021, the amount of parts of harvester and threshers imported in the Middle East rose significantly to X units, with an increase of 7.6% compared with the year before. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 19%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Turkey represented the major importing country with an import of around X units, which amounted to 33% of total imports. All these countries together took near 64% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Syrian Arab Republic (with a CAGR of +18.9%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Turkey ($X), Israel ($X) and Iraq ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, together accounting for 74% of total imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, Iraq, with a CAGR of +18.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in the Middle East stood at $X per unit in 2021, dropping by -2.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the import price increased by 25% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($X per unit), while Syrian Arab Republic ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
