Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2021, and then contracted markedly in the following year.

The shipments of the four major exporters of chicory, namely Belgium, France, Poland and Hungary, represented more than two-thirds of total export. It was distantly followed by the Netherlands (X tons), constituting a X% share of total exports. Germany (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
