The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Belgium ($X) remains the largest calcium carbonate supplier in the European Union, comprising 38% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by France ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by Spain, with an 11% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Belgium stood at -2.9%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: France (+7.3% per year) and Spain (+4.0% per year).

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per ton), while Latvia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
