Manostat Market Size in ECOWAS

In value terms, manostat exports reduced dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a pronounced descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

Senegal was the key exporter of manostats in ECOWAS, with the volume of exports finishing at X units, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Sierra Leone (X units), constituting a X% share of total exports. Ghana (X units), Nigeria (X units) and Niger (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Senegal was also the fastest-growing in terms of the manostats exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Sierra Leone (X%) and Niger (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. In 2022, the export price in ECOWAS amounted to $X per unit, rising by X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a deep contraction. In 2022, purchases abroad of manostats was finally on the rise to reach X units for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a deep contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, manostat imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Imports by Country

Nigeria was the largest importing country with an import of about X units, which finished at X% of total imports. Senegal (X units) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Burkina Faso (X units), Ghana (X units) and Cote d'Ivoire (X units). All these countries together held near X% share of total imports. Guinea (X units) and Cabo Verde (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
