As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Senegal was the key exporter of manostats in ECOWAS, with the volume of exports finishing at X units, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Sierra Leone (X units), constituting a X% share of total exports. Ghana (X units), Nigeria (X units) and Niger (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Senegal was also the fastest-growing in terms of the manostats exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Sierra Leone (X%) and Niger (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. By contrast, Nigeria (X%) and Ghana (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, manostat imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Nigeria was the largest importing country with an import of about X units, which finished at X% of total imports. Senegal (X units) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Burkina Faso (X units), Ghana (X units) and Cote d'Ivoire (X units). All these countries together held near X% share of total imports. Guinea (X units) and Cabo Verde (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
