From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Ghana represented the main exporting country with an export of around X tons, which recorded X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Cote d'Ivoire (X tons), constituting a X% share of total exports.

As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, citrus fruit imports dropped to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by X%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

Imports by Country

Cote d'Ivoire was the largest importing country with an import of about X tons, which reached X% of total imports. Burkina Faso (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Senegal (X%), Nigeria (X%), Mali (X%) and Cabo Verde (X%). Niger (X tons) took a little share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to citrus fruit imports into Cote d'Ivoire stood at X%. At the same time, Nigeria (X%), Mali (X%), Burkina Faso (X%), Senegal (X%), Niger (X%) and Cabo Verde (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
