Norway (X tons) was the main destination for refined copper exports from Denmark, with a 63% share of total exports. Moreover, refined copper exports to Norway exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, France (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Iceland (X tons), with a 7% share.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 61%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
