Germany (X units), Hungary (X units) and Saudi Arabia (X units) were the main destinations of laser exports from the Czech Republic, together comprising X% of total exports. After two years of growth, purchases abroad of lasers, other than laser diodes decreased by -X% to X units in 2020. Over the period under review, imports saw a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at X units in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.
